Hodges is twice the player Tate is though. Better Dummy Half runner, Better line runner, Better fend, better pace, better step, better agility/Speed.

Recurring short term injury >>>>>>> consistent lengthy layoffs a la Tate.

  2. Old Mate M Perry

    Benny has my support.

    inb4 MF defense essay.

There is no way Hodges is a better line runner than Tate. Hodges is amongst the worst line running centres in the NRL; it's simply not the way he plays.

  5. Old Mate M Perry

    It's all about context.

Even if all of this were, which it most certainly isn't, that wouldn't change the fact that Tate has had a long and successful rep career, and Hodges has had an abysmal one. I didn't think such a truism could escape the attention of anyone other than Gemmell. Guess I was wrong.

The stuff about speed and line-running is something I'd expect from the love-child of Gemmell and Flash. What rubbish. Hodges can't run a line worth a shit and is slow as fuck.

Twice the player, yeah okay then. What a surprise you mention absolutely nothing about defence.

Oh ffs. Are you actually being serious with this shit, Benny? What fucking difference does it make if the above quote is true or not? It doesn't change the fact that Hodges has been playing for longing than Tate but has racked up fewer games due to injury. It's the sort of shit I hear from Gemmell when we have arguments about Tate and Hodges. Well, whose on the sideline now for 9 months with an injury he's done previously?

Well why don't you pull your head in and actually make a proper argument. This isn't to be taken seriously.

That knock on went a mile back by Moylan.
