Wouldn't have to as such. Roughly the same time though. It'd probably be better if they each had their own pre-season hype and their own little period for finals so they didn't directly compete for attention I guess, so starting and finishing at exactly the same time is a no-goer. But having CSRL on weekends would make sure there were no game-day clashes when both seasons were on at the same time.
The thing is, aren't you moving provincial cricket because you can't keep up simmage on the weekends? If you're sure than go ahead but I expected you to sim this during the cricsim offseason.
As I've made RLSim myself as there are no bowling changes, simming a game would take me all of 5 seconds. I also don't imagine I'd ever have to wait for lineups given there'd be 5 days in between end of round and start of round. .. and I'm not even sure I'll be doing all or even any of the simming anyway. I just thought it'd be good to have it regularly on non-CS days regardless of who was doing it. I don't think I'm going to have any time to work on it between now and the end of the CricSim season, otherwise I'd do exactly that. I'm going to spend the CS offseason polishing it so we'd end up with yet another really long CS offseason if you then had to wait for the CSRL season to be over on top of that.
S'all good then. Any thoughts as to when to start organising teams and such? I imagine there'd have to be some time to get all the registrations in, and then get those players into teams, before the season starts.
Lots of players already have regos. I think the end of the CricSim season makes as much sense as any other time - it'll be a very hectic period with two lots of contract threads opening though.
We're probably going to need to figure out which teams are going to be in the comp before we open contracts though.
Pretty sure the Cyclones RLFC will continue if you allow it, with the same core at least. Anyway, will new registrations be required? You definitely give the impression that they won't but I can't be sure.
