Just gonna start the discussion going for whoever will take the side, be it me, Speirz or someone else. Fullback Kurt Gidley Shannon McDonnell Wes Naiqama Luke MacDougall (I think) I think the only real option here would be Gidley, although I guess we could use Hilder at lock as the utility like player.
What does Speirz think of this? Bench is pretty gun. Not sure about Vuna over Uate, although Vuna has been playing great. And Dureau/Mullen combination. Either Gidley or Hilder can move to 6/7/9. 1. Kurt Gidley 2. James McManus 3. Junior Sau 4. Adam MacDougall 5. Cooper Vuna 6. Jarrod Mullen 7. Scott Dureau 8. Ben Cross 9. Isaac De Gois 10. Daniel Tolar 11. Steve Simpson 12. Zeb Taia 13. Matt Hilder 14. Cory Paterson 15. Chris Houston 16. Richard Fa'aoso 17. Mark Taufua Cameron Ciraldo Marvin Karawana Keith Lulia Shannon McDonnell Wes Naiqama Tim Natusch George Ndaira Ben Rogers Akuila Uate Danny Wicks Luke MacDougall
Would start Houston over Simpson. That and Uate/Vuna are probably the only changes I'd make. Yeah, C'd. Comes in off his wing even more often than Uate and couldn't tackle his way out of a paper bag. That said, he's more consistent than Uate is.
I'll try and find some sort of other side I can run as well. Failing that, I can't see the harm in 3/4 of us sharing it.
Yeah, I don't see any problems with that. I'm sure we share similar thoughts on lineups. Yeah, I wasn't sure where Simpson would fit. But that is seriously a gun bench. I don't know. Vuna has the hard running, and has been awesome since he came back.
I haven't seen him play a game yet, but I saw the rugby union version of NRL on Fox and they were talking about how big a challenge it'd be for [insert name of some pipsqueak teenage winger] to defend against him, so he's obviously rated highly.
Played inside centre against the Tahs. The Rebels got smashed and from what I saw nobody played well.
