While I agree and the Hawks aren't going anywhere, by posting that, Toolman laid a platform of expectation and the Hawks had fallen behind everyone else since registration opened.
Yeah, it really does surprise me though. That post actually set everything in motion. It made you reconsider RLSim's structure; it forced a complete change to RLSim's dynamics with new teams, new contracts etc etc; and it was actually the cause of me properly looking into setting RLSim up properly with these forum postcounts (which actually saved CricSim by the fluke in the end, too, as I've mentioned before). All that said, and in re-reading that thread, I fail to comprehend the fact that the Hawks are struggling for numbers. What actually happened between then and now?
Indeed it did and I am not too sure. I guess Toolman didn't find the right amount of guys in the standards that he wanted them to be. He was doing a good job and then backed off and hasn't done much since, while all the teams were filling up quite quickly. If CricSim didn't go down, the entire pre-season cup and the season itself would have been held back by the lack of numbers for the Hawks.
