    Watching Sydney Fremantle and the names on the backs are useful for the novice like myself, but some of the longer names are messy to say the least.

    That'd only really help with giving more space for the short names. I don't think you'll find a good way to put 'Hannebery' or 'Cunningham' on there.

    Same here. Very useful for me, but I can only read half the names from the wide view anyway, except when they zoom in close.

    I don't my AFL coverage is in HD. Do you get HD coverage in Australia? I presume so and I guess that'd make a difference.

    Nah, will cut into the AFL's profits as the deal will be worth less. Costs more to broadcast in HD than it brings in so cunts will just offer less for the deal.
