Shupup, he's our only hope! You're probably right, i just recall him expressing interest in the PL and i just feel like Liverpool are in the most need of a new manager out of the top6/7 teams.
Hes recently just come out and pretty much said it doesn't need to be a CL club for his next job. Rodgers really should've gone after the Stoke defeat. It's only going to get worse with the majority of the fans now firmly against him
Liverpool's problems seem to me to be a lack of revenue. They just financially can't compete with the big 4 clubs. Klopp has a great record but unless you can solve the cash problem then Liverpool is going to struggle long term.
Rodgers has spent a shit load on average players. Throw in the new TV deal and then there is no way you can use 'revenue' and not being able to financially cope with City, Chelsea and Utd as an excuse
I suppose revenue and borrowing are two different things. Liverpool haven't got the mass marketing power that Citeh, United or Chelski have. These teams make a lot of money/revenue and this goes into transfers. I reckon Liverpool partly fund through revenue and pArt through finance/loans.
Chelsea and City are owned by billionaires. Money isn't an issue for Liverpool, it's just poor decisions after poor decisions with that money.
Yeah and Sterling went for £50m. More than half of what you guys spent has been funded by the sale of 2 players
QPR had a 25% sell on clause and Frizzed is hitting the nail on the head. He's spent £300m and we are again relying on an injury prone striker to get us out of the shit this is his 4th season, he shouldn't have lasted in his 3rd
