    Fittaman over Dafter IMO.

    Was the better of the 2 in the Academy too.

    Have to look at todays games.

    It's a vastly different situation though. They brought Astele in because, on batting alone, he'd done more to get the place than Harding. Astele actually didn't bowl a ball in the entire game; he was picked on batting alone.

    You've scored more ALC runs than Fittaman this season, but:
    * He has 4 Second Class hundreds and 1 First Class hundred to your 0 and 0
    * He was yanked out of the ALC to play in the BS this season and did well there
    * He did well last season too; you didn't play much but you failed
    * He scored a ton in the last Academy game

    The reason you shouldn't be in the team isn't because "you don't need another allrounder" - it's because Fittaman is a better batsman than you and the place up for grabs isn't a bowling-effected position.

    Why? Dafter faced higher quality attacks playing firsts this season and scored two fifties in three innings batting in the exact position where there is a vacancy.

    Fittaman was hardly shit either, though, and unlike Dafter he's actually done something besides play two BS games this season and be okay - ie. score runs consistently in the ALC for two seasons.

    Holy shit what an awesome game. Our bowling really set us up for the win there with an awesome first innings from Nino. Bots, Izett and Weaver were outstanding when we needed them to be. There is seriously something wrong with me not being able to convert, out for 92 ffs :p.

    Also big LOL at Blunder being a sore loser.

    Great game Luffers, can't wait to meet you guys again in the Rossleigh.
