    Then play Fittaman at 2 (he is signed up as an opener IIRC) and play McGrath at 4 with Hornby at 5.

    After scoring 227 you really cannot justify us needing another all-rounder. We needed 280 to win in the last innings. I would say we bowled well. But the batting definately needs improving.

    NZ brought in an allrounder for an injured batsman because the allrounder had outscored the other options.
    Arguably I've done better than Fittaman this year, plus I add an extra bowling option.

    Ye... what I meant was, our "star" players over the course of GBs 2 games have been decent... those who failed today were solid against NSW.

    And looking at their form and GB record definately won't be dropped.
