  1. Farny AP Farnsworth

    Meh. Speirs = my bitch.

Even if he got near 50 both innings...

  2. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Both our bowling and batting were sub par tbh.

  3. McGrath JE McGrath

    24th. Get in.

  4. Baxter MJ Deane

Yeah they were, but when you let a side make 550 odd and a lead of 600 in the 3rd innings you've got no ****ing hope. Draw is the best you can expect.
Especially when we managed to get so close to their first innings score, if we'd kept them too around 300 our batting would have had a chance.

  5. Luffers JRE Luffman

It's bloody frustrating! Still at least we'll have Colesy back for the next round, he should add a lot to our batting.

Plus I may score runs...oh wait this is Rep...not BS.

  6. Baxter MJ Deane

Thanks for appreciating my knock in the first innings btw. Had to throw it away with the tail though didn't I! :p Yes I'm joking.

  7. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Haha yeh. Obviously me giving you batting lessons has done something.

Good ton though. Oh wait, you can't make those.

  8. Baxter MJ Deane

See, I'll nor respons seriously.. I fell 9 runs short of a century. When Farny got out I was in the 50s IIRC so putting an extra 30-40 runs on the board with you and Whicker was a fair effort. I'll go ahead and say it, if I batted 7 I would've got those extra 9 runs IMO.

  9. Farny AP Farnsworth

And if you were a decent bat you'd be batting 7 :p

  10. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Yeh except you got out. I was perfectly happy sitting there nudging singles :p

  11. Baxter MJ Deane

\_/. I went aggressive to add as many runs as I could before you got out Blunder. I'll happily take 65* next time. Better for my average.

  12. Farny AP Farnsworth

Haha, the toys are heading out of the pram again...

  13. Baxter MJ Deane

Like I said in my first post, I was joking originally. If people are going to have a jibe I'll happily point the finger to where I think the problem lies.

  14. Sik_Slogga SLO Graham

    You **** :ninja:

  15. McGrath JE McGrath

Dafter to remain opening. Or Push Luffers up 1.

  16. Cribbage RG Cribb

You came out about 3 seconds after Callum. It wouldn't have happened.

  17. Callum CJ Laing

Good efforts from Marcuss and McGrath with the bat there and Farny tore it up in the first innings. The fact Whicker is not performing at all for us makes our bowling attack very weak. I am not a 3rd bowler in an attack, I can perform the 4th/5th role fine but I am not going to be someone who tears through an order. The top of the order is also a major area of concern. Luffers has been dire so far and Goodfellow had a good first game but thats it. Dunno if any of this has been said but I cba to look back.

  18. Baxter MJ Deane

Callum had faced 11 balls by the time I come out. He put on 18 with Graham. It's possible I would've made 9 runs in that time.

  19. Luffers JRE Luffman

It also possible that you could have got out in that time.

You can't say either way ITBT

  20. Baxter MJ Deane

No because you need to remember one of the major counter arguments against my arguement for batting 7 was "batting 7 or 8 won't actually have an effect on your performance" so therefore it's quite reasonable to expect that I'd make those 91 runs again, plus whatever I managed to make in partnership with Graham.
