You're a moron if you think that's what I meant.

When I said that there wasn't an actual effect of those two batting positions, I didn't literally mean that you'd always score the exact same amount of runs - I simply meant that there weren't batsmen who'd excel at seven and flop at eight over or vice-versa over a large period of time. That it's the same skill-set doesn't mean different things can't happen.

I'm considering being a real **** here and putting a ban on the discussion of your batting position. It'd definitely be for the good of the forum IMO. I understand you think you should be batting seven, but for someone with such a high IQ, the points and reasons you bring up for it are the some of the most retarded things I have ever read on this forum. Or any forum in fact. If you batted seven you might have tonned up. But you might not have; the entire chain of events would have been different - there's no way of actually knowing. Your theory, though, basically suggests that whenever you come in, you wouldn't have got out before that point if you had batted higher.. which is frankly so devoid of logic that it makes me want to delete CricSim entirely.

If you want to state your case, actually do it properly and stop resorting to this ****ing stupid rubbish or I'll just start deleting bad posts.

 

I will start infracting you for spam/baiting/fueding/something if you keep talking out of your arse about it though, so if you're just going to sit there and say "I'll keep doing it" you'll find yourself banned pretty quickly.
