On this pitch you'd push for the 6th bowling spot in the 4th innings.

Not at the Strip. 7 pace assistance is more thn enough for me and Eggman.

I don't think the 5 at the Saders or Ravens is disastrous either tbh. We only have 6 at home IIRC.

    Fixed... :p

I don't necessarily agree with this I mean in every innings so far you've posted in the high 200's or more... in fact I think your lowest score for the season is 297 against the Stingrays (one of the best teams in the comp). To be posting these kind of scores in the early rounds when it has all been dominated by the bowlers is no easy feat.

You guys only really need 1 or 2 batsmen to fire and you'll get a decent score, your batting lineup and depth is very strong.

    beat me to it.

Always happens... Never for me though.

  7. AVA T Delonge

Yeah, our strength has been our tail. If we can actually get our upper and middle order to fire at the same time, we can put on monster scores. It just usually ends up that one or the other has been performing lately.

  8. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Yeh we've relied alot on the tail wagging at the end though. I scored >100 runs from 9/10 in 3 innings.

I just don't think that we're capable of standing up and making a massive score atm. We've got past 400 once, and that was only 410. We've relied heavily on our bowling skittling teams for ~250 or less, and when we've scored runs its generally been the same people.

Obviously we're not batting terribly... but against this bowling attack I think we'll need to do better or find ourselves all out for a low score.

  9. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

    Yeh... well... **** YOU!

  10. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

    1. JE McGrath - 29.40
    2. DN Boland - 44.80
    3. JRE Luffman - 31.20
    4. T Delonge - 17.00
    5. J Torres - 34.80
    6. R Gee - 72.25
    7. CJ Devonshire - 30.20
    8. BA Storer - 28.50
    9. BOY Blunder - 29.75
    10. HJ Bots - 17.75
    11. DA Eggman - N/A

So as you see our strenght is that we bat all the way down, but when it comes down to it we only really have Boland and Gee averaging > 40, > 35 even. Not to mention Boland and McGrath were both N.O against the Poomahs which is an average inflation.

Lol at Tim averaging the lowest in the team.

EDIT: FMD - Triple post FTL.

I average 17, but man, they are the 17 most important runs in the game.

  12. Callum CJ Laing

About time AVA was in ALC tbh.

  13. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Check out our ALC team.... you'll understand why we can't drop him :p

  14. AVA T Delonge

I want to ****ing drop, just need Frosty to average over 20 in the ALC. :p

  15. McGrath JE McGrath

    I need a ton :(

  16. Cribbage RG Cribb

Bout time AVA started batting eleven IMO.

  17. Luffers JRE Luffman

Agreed. I need to stand up and be counted TBH Averaged 44 in the last match, hopefully I'm starting to gain some form.

  18. RyanG R Gee

Wouldn't mind ****ing converting for once.

  19. RyanG R Gee

    I bowl leg spin :ninja:

  20. Cribbage RG Cribb

Yeah, but it's all comparative. At home the par batting score will be a lot higher. Your pace bowlers might still average 30 or so there, but averaging 30 or so there will be shithouse if their spinners are averaging 20.
