    I've definitely been very wrong about Maloney. I did say he was a good signing but the way he transforms club teams in a positive manner is just astounding for a support playing/ball running half. Kudos to the bloke.

    At the end of the day Cronulla won the premiership so fair play. But I definitely subscribe to that as well. The 2 games in question came down to one penalty and one failure to link up with an unmarked support player too.

    Wilson's right though, ifs ands or buts just don't matter at the end of the year.

    It's a fallacious argument anyway really. By the same logic you could say Canberra shouldn't have finished second and playing the Sharks at home n the first place given their ridiculous draw. It's all hypothetical.
