    Because NSW need a tacklers with extremely high workrates to nullify QLD's forwards in defence. O'Donnell's workrate is overrated, while Creagh is much more effective in attack IMO.

    Michaels isn't playing well at all, but we don't have good depth. Michaels is a better option than Sailor or Walker because of his age.

    If Tonga is injured or something.

    Thing is if you remember Boyd wasn't playing very well when he got selected last year either, infact if Michaels wasn't injured he would have got the spot ahead of Boyd and if you remember some people wanted Kemp their instead of him aswell. Origin has made Boyd a heaps better player imo.
