I think it's boring because it is too repititive. It is probably incredibly impractical to change back to the originally scheduled teams but I think it's what it needs.
I think it will be much better with the BS running along side it. S1 was crap because it was dragged out, but during the normal season I think it could be a good lil comp. Also, Vipers to dominate!
It wasn't successful at all last season, but I think that was because of how it was run. It was thrown together at the last second, the best players weren't available and it dragged on for ages and ages. My hopes are that now it's being treated as a proper competition, with rep spots up for grabs based on performances in it, everyone being available and it being run in conjunction with the BS, people will get into it more. It's no secret though that I'm not the biggest fan of one day cricket in history so it could get scrapped if it doesn't work this season.
I hope it stays around, same as the plate. Should be much better this season. I think the one day game make the season quite interesting and the difference between some players in the OD game compared to the longer form of the game is immense. It also gives people like me a chance to get some one day games under my belt and so how I go in limited overs.
