Not on the same order as Manly. As Freud said about the Jews, "they'll all sink their difference when it comes to hating them". Them being Manly.
From my memories of NSW Brisbane were as hated if not more than Manly, and that was in an area mostly populated by Parramatta fans.

I dislike Manly because of the nostalgic value in their rivalry with my loved Western Suburbs Magpies.
No I won't actually. Now I'm not gonna speak for the entire league watching populace, but preetttty much every where I've lived they've been at least on level pegging. Solely on my experience though.
I realise that. I disagree with the assumption that it is an historical phenomenon amongst the majority of fans. Do you not realise that that was my point? The very first thing I wrote in response to Crowley was that this phenomenon amongst people from 12-30 is not based on history. You've just affirmed my point.
Fair enough. I've never heard anyone say they get the feeling that Brisbane are more hated than Manly.
That being said, I've never really felt the hate for anyone up here other than the Blues. Whereas in NSW it was alot more focused on club footy so Brissy and Womanly were both very hated.
Their affiliation with News Ltd/Super League has always meant they'll be hated more down south than in QLD, they just don't get it.
