Mouse in the first. Love the attacking endeavour that you'd see from Jager's team, but crikey that midfield is not gonna do anything to help on the counter. Would certainly make for some entertaining matches, but Mouse's line-up has an air of solidity that makes it superior IMO. The 2nd one is tight. Man for man: Southall <<< Chilavert Gerets > Salgado Ferdinand = Cannavaro Ruggeri < Vierchowod Gordillo > Mihajlovic (just) Which gives the random XI a minor superiority in defence, I think. The midfields, even with the different shapes, Cevno is clearly superior. Judging Socrates on his whole career according to the rules is a massive benefit for team Cevno. Up front, I think the random XI has the edge. Tough one. I'll give Cevno the vote, but I'll probably change my mind in a bit.
Mouse - Jager really needs a defensive midfielder. Even if he played a narrow 4-1-2-1-2 with Beckham in CM with Le Tiss, and a defensive midfielder behind them, it'd be doable. Shame, because there's so many good players there. Cevno - not close, really.
Don't rate Mouse's team as highly as some will but Jager really needs a proper DM in for Le Tiss. Even then as a diamond it'd be so top heavy. Cevno in the second
Mouse Mouse's team is solid and Jager's is towards the bottom. Not a very good team at all for this competition imo. Le Tissier has no business being in 25 rounds of a comp like this and there's just a void defensively since there's no way you can trust a CB pairing which lacks speed in Terry & Adams, especially with no-one holding in front. Cevno Rofl missed Socrates and read Hugo Sanchez as Nuno Gomes.... This team is actually fucking awesome up front. The D does remain a liability as it's a very poor back 5 in this competition but the mid + attack is legit. 5 threatening players who can carve you up.
