Swansea have apparently been given permission to speak with Martinez's assistant at Wigan Graeme Jones to take over there.
Henderson was definitely 13+3, and yes it is standard for media to just whack the add-ons onto the overall fee. Hence why it's still reported that we sold Simonsen to Everton for £3.3m back in 98 even though we likely didn't even get half of it, and £300k was in the form of a player anyway.
The body of the shirt is sort of wooly? Not like a normal football shirt, and the sleeves are like a normal one. I quite like the material, feels light. Not as nice as the material on the FCK home shirt from last season, but better then a lot out there IMO
Decent first interview from Rodgers... Didn't give much away, interesting that he pretty much didn't want to comment on whether there is a clause in his contract about signing Swansea players.
I didn't think you could legally write something like that in tbh, restriction of trade laws and that I always thought they were gentlemen agreements
Like Liverpool got Konchesky from Fulham even though everyone thought Woy couldn't get Fulham players. If there was something in the contract then he couldn't have got him First refusals are real things though, they just arn't as black and white as some people make out
I believe that Rodgers was the only person offered the job, but no way he was first choice. Martinez was first choice.
Well then it's worked out for the best. I don't know about everyone else, but I definitely rate Rodgers over Martinez.
