How is it shaping up? More importantly, for the world cup. I'll have a stab, keep in mind I watch fuck all ESL and am mostly going on past international games and/or NRL games.

    1. S. Tomkins
    2. J. Charnley
    3. G. Widdop?
    4. R. Atkins
    5. R. Hall
    6. K. Sinfield
    7. D. McGuire
    8. J. Graham
    9. J. Roby
    10. G. Burgess
    11. S. Burgess
    12. G. Ellis
    13. S. O'Loughlin

    14. R. Burrow
    15. C. Hill?
    16. G. Hock/J. Jones-Buchanan
    17. B. Westwood

Yeah, I wouldn't be playing Widdop on Inglis.

Rangi Chase still think he's a pom?

  4. Freddy MJ Johns

There isn't a whole lot of options to match up with inglis in the world, Tbf.

  5. Freddy MJ Johns

Yeah. Sinfield and McGuire are miles ahead of him but.

  6. Alec AD Funkotron

    For the Queen, lads.

  7. Julian BJ Taylor

Well you've got Heighnington, Reed and Chase all elligible as well. And the WC is being played here isn't it? If so I'd be picking as many players with NRL experience as possible.

The pools will be interesting because I can definitely see Tonga and/or Samoa knocking off the poms.

    Played in uk I think.

  9. Benny BS Read

Jack Reed would do a good job on Inglis IMO.

I think they can do better than a five-eighth with average technique.

  11. Freddy MJ Johns

I didn't realise Reed was a Pom. Good call.

Cunt is barely good enough to be playing for the Broncos atm.

  13. Alec AD Funkotron

Yeah, Reed has a long way to go to get back into form. He remembered how to pass again, but the fatty will need to do more than that to be good enough to play rep again.

I won't choose chase or heighington out of spite fwiw, they only chose England because they wouldn't play rep footy in their respective countries.

Broncos > England, so that's irrelevant.

    Nah.

 yeah, you have better centres and a slightly better backrow. The rest is tilting significantly in England's favour tbh.

World Cup is in England. There is no way Tonga or Samoa are knocking off England. In fact, I'd rate England equal to New Zealand given the fact that since 2007 England/Great Britain have only lost Test matches to Australia.

England's halves may be pretty weak but they are a mile ahead of anything that Samoa or Tonga can come up with. England's spine will consist of Tomkins, Roby, Sinfield and some other guy while Tonga and Samoa will be fielding teams with Mateo, Roberts, Seluini, Fisi'iahi, Foster, Tuimavave and possibly Jennings if they are lucky.

Dwta about the back row. Ellis and Burgess are arguably the 2 best back rowers in the game today.

Burgess should and probably will play in the frontrow. Ellis is good but he is constantly injured these days, he hasn't even played a game yet in SL. For the rest I think that Thaiday, Glenn, and Parker shade O'Loughlin, Westwood and Hock imo.
