    Mousey

Anyway, best town performance in a little while imo. Manoeuvred through some tricky
situations and the power roles were nerfed somewhat.

I enjoyed my role but never got much of a chance to put it to good use

  2. Farhat AM Farhat

Oh and FYI, us mafiosos had no night actions. One of us could be the killer; the others could visit people, but that's all it was.

  3. Howe JHF Howe

Is it true that Ritchie's vote didn't count?

  4. 99* JJ Ritchie

    Nope.

  5. HeathDavisSpeed HT Davis

Only given how shit recent Town performance have been. Without Ritchie being mod-killed, I think this was another Mafia win.

Should be time for some annual awards votes.

  6. morgieb MC Burridge

My condition was to try to get the game to only one man standing. If Arheiner had killed Mousey rather than you then there's a good chance I'd have won.

My patterns? Well, I said everyone I killed although I should point out I did kill Howe as well. In general my targets were sorta town-sided to make myself seem less sus if sussed, and if Arheiner hadn't killed Starris too I'd probably have gotten away with it.

  7. Baxter MJ Deane

    I tried at least

  8. AVA T Delonge

Yeah, Escath confirmed in the dead QT that you would have won if Farhat was last man standing.

  9. Farhat AM Farhat

You could have not claimed to kill Starris!!!!!

You would not haven gotten away with it. You were silent and came in with a very poor defence.

  10. Mousey AJ Son

Yeah  Such a dumb move

  11. AVA T Delonge

He did kill Starris though. :p

  12. Farhat AM Farhat

Arheiner already claimed to kill Starris. If Morgie was to be a townie, he would have cc'd the kill when Arheiner admitted to it.

    Bring on the rage

    1. Athlai - Georgina, killed night 2
Power: Could search each night for one of his Famous Five friends. If found, he would be able to talk to them in a QT. Once two members of the Famous Five were together they could only pick the same person to visit each night. Once they had at least three together the group could no longer find any more friends.
    Rating: B
Wasn't given much of a chance to get involved, having been silenced for one of the two days he was alive.

    2. AVA - Adrian Monk, killed night 4
Power: Visit two people to find if their alignments are the same. Cannot be used two nights in a row.
    Rating: A-
Good idea to not reveal anything about his ability even though he got a positive on Heef and Furball being of different alignments until he got a chance to look into a third person. Unfortunate to have died on the night he would have found out Morgie wasn't town.

    3. Baxter - Jacques Clouseau, killed night 5
Power: 30% chance to get alignment, 70% chance to roleblock
    Rating: D
Really bad town performance here. Screwed over town twice later on in the game with his attempt to investigate/roleblock. Once when Skippos tried revenge kill Weeman's killer, Ritchie, in night four and again when Mousey tried to activate his no-town-lynch-on-next-day power in night five. If Ritchie hadn't been modkilled and mafia had won, it would have been entirely on Baxter. Was also very elusive about his powers and somehow got frustrated when called out on it. IIRC you also led the Skippos train after being misled by the kill counts.

    4. Blunder - Horatio Caine, killed night 3
Power: Can visit a dead person to find out one person who had targeted them any time during the game.
    Rating: C+
Found out Ritchie had visited Weeman but didn't end up doing anything about it. Killed off early so not much chance to be active otherwise.

    5. Farhat - James Moriarty, killed night 6
    Power: Mafia, no power
    Rating: B
Was really quiet early on. Perhaps a more aware town would have picked up on his (over?) eagerness to be involved later on in the game. Probably should have just hammered Furball instead of trying to swing it the other way. Again, a more aware time would probably have got suspicious from this.

    6. Furball - Lawrence Wargrave, lynched day 3
    Power: Mafia, no power
    Rating: B
Didn't really stand a chance after AVA brought out his evidence

    7. Heef - John Watson, killed night 2
    Power: Doctor
    Rating: B
Killed early on. Can't comment too much.

    8. Hen da man - Vito Corleone, killed night 3
    Power: Mafia, no power
    Rating: B
Didn't really stand out. No comment.

    9. Arheiner (replaced Logan) - Simon Templar, survived
Power: Can silence, roleblock or vig someone each night. Hidden passive was that he'd show up as third party if investigated. Didn't come into effect though.
    Rating: C-
Redeemed only by his vig on Farhat at the end. Both Logan and Arheiner using the silence ability of all things is such a dumb town move. Lucky town kept you around until the end. I certainly wouldn't have if I was playing as town. Don't silence people when you're town dudes.

    10. Morgieb - Garrett Mason, lynched day 6
Power: SK. Showed up as town if investigated until he made his first kill.
    Rating: B+
Probably MVP and would have gone on to win the game if it wasn't for the very poor claim. Claiming vig when there were already other flavours of vig claimed/confirmed by death was already bad enough, but you also accepted responsibility for the Starris kill when Arheiner had already owned up to it. Genuinely disappointed you threw it all away at the end :(

    11. Mousey - Phoenix Wright, killed night 6
Power: Can prepare an objection during night. If a townie is to be lynched in the next day the day ends with no lynch instead. This power can be used until a townie is successfully saved from a lynch.
    Rating: B-
Didn't attempt to use his power until the second to last night, when he was roleblocked by Baxter. Arguments can be made for an earlier use of the power, but leaving it that late is still fairly viable for what is a stronger governor with the only drawback being it requires a night action. General town play wasn't that great though. Followed some pretty poor claims.

    12. Howe (replaced Number 11) - Bruce Wayne, killed night 5
Power: Votes counted for nothing but could end the day and reveal the identity of whoever he had his vote on.
    Rating: A-
If I had this power I would have been much more aggressive with it in the early-mid game. Of course, Howe dropped in a bit later to replace 11 so this role wasn't as powerful as it actually can be. Got an impression of solid town play though.

    13. Reagan Wheelson - Anne, survived
    Power: Same as Athlai
    Rating: B-
Only thing of note I'll mention is that I think Starris could have been saved and everyone better off if the three of you just outed earlier.

    14. Riddy - Kudou Shinichi, modkilled day 2
    Power:
    Rating: F
Don't sign up if you're not going to (have time to) play. At the very least let the mod know you're just going to disappear

    15. Ritchie - Harvey Dent, modkilled day 6
    Power: Mafia, no power
    Rating: N/A
Good mafia play but rules are rules.

    16. Skippos - Dexter Morgan, lynched day 5
Power: Can pick a person who has died to revenge kill for them after three nights.
    Rating: A
Blame Baxter. I think it was fairly good play overall.

    17. Starris - Dick, killed night 4
    Power: Same as Athlai
    Rating: B
Good hint dropping early on to have Vimes and Athlai find you. I don't really understand where the suspicion on you came from. Same as Wheelson/Vimes as far as claiming goes.

    18. Teacups - Arsene Lupin, lynched day 4
Power: No power. Must survive until the end of the game and have been part of the lynch majority at least two thirds of successful lynches.
    Rating: B+
I actually thought it was a pretty good claim, if a bit ambitious. Definitely shouldn't have cracked and confessed though. CricSim hates third parties. You probably stood more chance of surviving by sticking with your claim and making some bullshit up as the game went on than confessing.

    19. Vimes - Julian, survived
    Power: Same as Athlai
    Rating: C+
My overall impression was that you got misled by people quite a few times. Same as Wheelson/Starris as far as earlier claiming goes.

    20. Weeman27bob - Nero Wolfe, killed night 1
Power: Finds out the roles of everyone who visits him. Doesn't know who the roles belong to.
    Rating: B
    Early RIP :(

Skippos and Mousey were both sus, even if they were incorrect reads.

Didn't lead the Skippos lynch, iirc Mousey was more vocal and pointed out his inconsistencies but as I said in dead chat I was under the impression Ritchie was going to be revealed that day bc of having more lynch votes.

Didn't get frustrated when being called out on being elusive either - I was being so deliberately. I got frustrated at being re-asked for the information I had already given.
I'll stand by my decision there as a roleblock/cop is a potentially powerful end game role and outing myself as such when the situation didn't necessarily require it was to just draw unwanted heat.

In short the ratings are a bit 'captain hindsight'

Did well to get a B there considering I did basically nothing.

B was basically the "average" point in my weird system.

    It was probably closer to
B+ onwards = made more good plays than bad plays
C+ to B = didn't really do much that stood out
C and below = made more bad plays than good plays

Yeah it was a pity I didn't have the role from the off, we would have got something out of the early no lynch. I kind of got more useless as time went on and town needed my vote.

Surprised Morgie killed me for that reason. I suppose it's because I suspected him.

I kinda agree with Baxter in that people are generally harsh on town when they know what town doesn't, but wrong calls are still wrong calls, it's fair enough to be 'graded' lower if you make them and other people don't

  19. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Feel kind of hard done by to get a C+ over a B there. Was deliberately quiet for the first day as my powerwasnt useful until the 3rd day phase and at that point I only knew Ritchie had visited Weeman at some point during the game and we had an explicit guilty on Furball in the same day. I tried to extract what I could from Ritchie but fay ended while I was out and I was killed during that nigjt phase.

  20. Escath LE Schaw

Yeah probably should have been higher. Yours was one of the first I did and I didn't realise how low that was relatively.
