Feel hard done by with a B.

Stopped Ritchie from killing Baxter and I chose to kill AVA instead.

As for the Furball non hammer. Like I said, hammering did not matter as the person with most votes come end of day would be lynched.

Also, once Baxter came out with something on Teacups I came out with my naive cop claim which would have won maf the game if it weren't for Arheiner guessing. Coming into the end of the game my claim was more believable than Skippos, Mousey, Morgie, Arheiner and Ritchie.

Honestly, you spent most of the game pushing on pressure and finishing off everyone you could, you looked like you had a bigger chance of being mafia than Mousey by a large margin.

Also, hooray for the concept of making enough bad calls and one will be right.

I put pressure on those who weren't contributing to towns cause. I did not finish off anyone except for Morgie.

Mousey was quiet all game then came in with a claim of having ability which we had to wait till the next day so that he could prove it as he claimed he was roleblocked yet you were a roleblocker and you did not do it.

I thought he was the 3rd party until Morgie remained silent then came out with that post. If Morgie had made a semi decent claim a bit earlier in the day I reckon I could have convinced town to lynch Mousey.

Claiming naive cop doesn't mean much at all. Any mafia member can say, "oh I keep getting innocents, even on confirmed third parties so I must be a naive cop." It's a surprise that no-one asked for a character claim to see if it's consistent with someone who's naive - would be a pretty hard claim to match. I'd question the usefulness of a naive cop for town in the long run. Have we ever had a pure naive cop in a forum mafia game? Seems antitown more than anything.

For example, in a situation where the naive cop reveals his innocents - say Heef (town) and Ritchie (mafia). Perhaps he reveals as there is pressure on him to out everything he knows. Mafia kill off the naive cop and Ritchie is essentially a clear for the rest of the game.

It must be said though that Farhat wasn't on the top of my sus list when I was lynched.

    It was:

    1. Skippos/Ritchie
    2. Vimes
    3. Farhat/Morgie
    4. Mousey

  6. Howe JHF Howe

I've put both paranoid cops and naive cops in forum mafia before. I think it's a pretty good thing to have some conflicts between town members early on and differing reports will do that. Just got to make sure you give it to someone who won't be too pissed off when they figure it out. :p

I'll make sure to give it to Mousey when I decide to make a forum mafia game

My character claim was Maxwell Smart. He fits the bill of being naive.

As for outing your innos, I dunno about you but if I kept getting innos I wouldn't out them unless pressure was put on one of them. Even then, pressure is being put usually by someone with damning evidence.

I think Naive cop has no place in a closed game. It's fine if people know there's one in there but if it's completely hidden then it's pretty hard to play against.
