Why would a non-town not be interested in this information, ie, why would arheiner deliberately sabotage this if he were mafia? Tend to believe sloppy and that's not an indication of bad intentions.

Basically, I think we're down to RL. I'm just going to start the discussion and

because he comes in and pronounces fatuous cautious one-liners. That's just pretty random but at 3:4 we should take some chance

Day Three

It was a serene Party Conference. After the troubles of the preceding period, however, there was plenty of pent up paranoia within the auditorium. A delegate from the Kazakhstan Oblast was making a particularly boring speech about stock yields when a man stood up in fifth row of the auditorium and pointed at the man sitting next to him. "THIS MAN HAS BEEN INSULTING THE PARTY SECRETARY'S MOUSTACHE!". Gobsmacked, the other man put down his pen, which he had been using to scribble notes onto a pad a paper and looked at his interlocutor aghast. The Kazakhstani delegate continued to drone on, but now nobody was listening to his plans. "How can you denounce this man", asked someone, "he's one of our foremost writers!". Nevertheless, the Conference soon rounded on the man, especially when it became clear that he was supposed to be in the Sharashka. There would have to be a full MGB enquiry as to how he got out. In the meantime, he was sent to the Gulags - Ekibastuz to be precise.
