RTS winning winger of the year is lols, Cordner shouldn't have won 2nd rower of the year either. Not much wrong with the rest of them though.
- McManus for fucking starters. - David Simmons had a better year in a pretty fucking ordinary team as well tbh. - Kevin Gordon was better from what I saw. - David Williams. - Sisa Waqa.
Get out of it. I wanna see Morgie try to justify his comments, Im almost 100% sure its not even an opinnion he's drawn himself rather than just jumping on some recent anti-rts comments over the past week. On a side note lol @ Simmons, he's a dud.
At least a lock won the lock award and a second rower the second rower award. Although they did manage to nominate Watmough amongst the second rowers and Bird amongst the locks.
I'd take RTS over Simmons 8 days out of 7 but Simmons' season was comfortably better than Sheck's. He just didn't play in a finals series.
I reckon I only caught about half of Penrith's season this year but he was always just as likely to fuck up as he was to score, he pretty much went from reserve grader to white Vatuvei. Although I'll be keen to hear others thoughts on it... I'm not defending RTS's rights to the award I thought McManus was the obvious option this year and the glaring stand out amongst a pretty woeful bunch of wingers.
