    Tonga had a really average end to the season tbh, I don't see what he had over Folau and SKD. Both got through so much more work for their team and you can't even use SKD's brain dead decisions as an excuse because Tonga is just as prone although he's guilty of just being a hog.

    Find it hard to take this seriously when you and MF have failed to acknowledge his last minute effort in the Tri nations Grand Final. He's an improvement on SKD and Folau but fmd he's seriously not that great.

    Acknowledge it? I recognised it, I just didn't post about it. I don't post about a lot of things that happen. Apart from that, rep form was not taken into account.

    SKD and Folau are not in the same ball park as Tonga in terms of defence. Both of them are woeful.

    Not this year he didn't and even if he did, since when is rep form/selections relevant to these polls?

    And when did Folau get a proper crack as a rep centre - 2008?

    How is any of this relevant?

    Well, given that the poll is just simply as a reference to this year, and it doesn't state otherwise anywhere else, I'd assume rep games are included. I haven't exactly read every post in every thread, but I can't reacll seeing mention of it being club form only. Even if that is so, it'd tend to create a natural bias anyway because the other players still got more exposure and success. Was a mistake including Folau as a rep centre, but I've no doubt the chances he and Tonga got for Qld and SKD's efforts for NZ (along with his end of season form including finals opportunities), are probably more likely to see people sending votes their way when compared to Lyon.
