To have the players season averages in the OP. Would allow for alot more discussion. e.g Tillakartne Dilshan (62.25) (113.00) Andrew Hall (43.38) (39.29) Manoj Tiwary (37.88) Shivnarine Chanderpaul (62.29) etc If possible
That'd require a complete change to the way I do things. I'm going to have the season averages listed on the site on the team page though.
Get a ranfurly shield type trophy, as of next season, winner has the trophy/shield and whoever wins against the holder of the trophy/shield gets it.
Agree with Speirz. I also think a rep tournament would be gun. You could have all the test nations barring Bangladesh and split Australia into NSW and rest of. I realise that's probably too much work so I'm proposing this: A short tri series after the gf of Australia, New Zealand and Great Britain. Players would actually be elligible depending on who the manager of their CPL team is. For example all the players from the CPL teams run by Aussies would be available for the Wombat CPL XI and so forth. Australians would have an advantage because of a bigger pool but there's half a dozen or so pommy run teams yeah? And then there's Athlai, Heath (Don't mean to disregard Fung it'd just be for player pool purposes), Phlegm, Jabba etc etc available for NZ. Thoughts?
Well it would be an All Star game of sorts it would just be divided into selectors' nations. Elligible for Australian barbarian rep: Beers, Carvers, El Damo (could go either way), Lighthouses, Panthers, Porpoises, Ravestars, Rebels, Sticky Wickets, Tunza etc etc
I'd prefer a genuine rep season with nominated selector groups and managers but it'd go for too long. You'd be able to make competitive teams from: NSW Australia* NZ South Africa England Windies (no keeper though) India Pakistan Sri Lanka Would have to be too extensive though so I reckon the 'all star tri series' or whatever would be pretty gun.
