yeah so roughly 1/4 = the top group of teams per league

As we are drawing from the whole world of football we should roughly let in about 32 teams as there are atleast 8 sides of the very top standard around the world

There's like a billion soccer comps in the world, you should be fine.

ftr, not wishing for a team because I don't know/care enough about soccer, but you could have around ~20 teams easily. CPL Cricket had more and there's way more professional soccer than cricket players around the world.

Yes but each person is having 25 man squads. 7 more people per squad is a lot.

If you going to have 30 teams it you should have some sort of play off between teams to decide whos in the top and 2nd tiers

Just putting in my opinion but I think it should be 20 teams

Should look at people who have been in this in the past, show at least some decent knowledge, and actually speak about football on here. Even if its just in the aus thread for people that don't like talking about epl ala speirz

Just don't like the idea of people taking up positions who pretty much purely will be looking at fm to pick the team for them and having people that don't show an interest in football

/somepeopletowhinge. But prett sure cricket cpl wouldn't have let people in who never spoke about cricket

What about if you don't support an EPL team and are not particularly interested in the national team bar when competitions are on, but are an avid fan of football.

    Child please.

Using FM = Same as using cricinfo or Cricket archive imho.

CM 2000-2001 is where it's at.

The difference is that the FM game directly gives you information about how that player should perform in the sim. It'd be like Cribb publishing the simming averages and then having a draft.

Maybe you should use Fifa 11 then. :ninja:

Picking players to win specifically is kinda dumb, especially when you do it solely on ratings. You should pick a competitive team of players who you like.

  12. Verigoat S Verigotta

It's not, cricinfo and archive you need to know the players before hand afaik and it's checking a couple of things

You don't know there exact bowling and batting averages and keeping abilities, if you did the teams would be a whole lot different. You can look at every players stat just using fm. Obv some people will in the later rounds anyway but I'd prefer not to have mindless pickets peronally

Dont even get why lukics applied tbh, prolly just to pick serbs and mess stuff up

Edit: c'd by lukics last post

Hence why my push for more teams to make it harder

but cricinfo and cricket archive still act as as much of an aid as FM as without FM you'd be picking solely on what you see and it is alot harder to judge more variables in football :Speed power etc than how a player bats, keeps and bowls in certain conditions whilst watching cricket.

Imagine how hard picking CPL sides would be if you were picking on the spot with no help from cricinfo or cricket archive. Half my team would be from NZ.

Not really. I did a bit, but retards like Hayes didn't help lol.
