given the way chelsea treat older players, i dont think cech has long left.

 

if you dont qualify for CL it will be an absolute disaster.

Benitez wasnt tied with hands behind his back and forced to sign the contract that made him interim manager. He chose to sign it and im sure he is being paid handsomely in return....

At the end of the day, chelsea fans pay a lot of money to follow their team. Through tickets, travel and merchandise etc etc, if they dont agree with something that the club are doing i dont see what is wrong with them showing their displeasure.

the main reason chelsea fans dont like rafa is the jip he used to give them when he was liverpool manager. i honestly dont know what he expected, but surely he wasnt anticipating them to welcome with open arms, because fans arent like that.

Next point, Rafa has different objectives from chelsea fans. Rafa knows he is gone at the end of the season and i genuinely think he is using this season to boost his own CV. Hence why he is prioritising the FA cup over league position and to a lesser extent the Europa League.

Take saturday for example, plays a 2nd string team away to southampton (who they failed to beat at home in the league earlier in the season), and they end up losing. there is no doubting the fact he was saving his first choice players for monday against United in the FA cup. Now obviously it looks worse now seeing as they ended up losing against southampton but now they are in real danger of not being in the CL next season. Players like Hazard, Mata and Oscar need to be playing CL they could be tempted by a big bid.

Also chelsea have won something stupid like 5 of the last 7 fa cups, so fans im sure would rather have CL qualifcation as the priority.
