Bulldogs Vs Panthers

It wasn't even the last play, they were on the 10m line and could've set up for a field goal, and they were up against 12 men and could've even had a scoring opportunity next play. Instead he grubbers it, didn't even get into the in-goal, luckily 3 defenders were there immediately to put him in the in-goal, and in the end they had to rush a kick from 30m out and had no alternate option so there was always going to be huge pressure on Kimmorely.

They were but that game was a reassurance. Our +/- was too good to drop out but at least this secures a home semi-final.

I agree it was a great effort. By the way, what are guys thinking of that send off? Deserved? Glenn Stewarts was much much worse IMO.

Ben Roberts has finally paid me back. Against Souths in 2008 he cost me about $500 by putting in a grubber when the scores were deadlocked, and in this game he won me $500 by doing the exact same thing.

    Stewart's was worse, both send-offs.

Petero should get 3-4 weeks, Stewart 5-6.

I reckon I saw a few worse than that on the weekend. I agree about a suspension but I don't think it deserves more than 2 weeks. What did Moi Moi get for that incident a few weeks ago?

Nothing, but he plays for Parra. Parra players never get suspended/caught by refs etc.

Yeah, I think you'll find he'll get a little more then just two weeks.

My point. Surely Petero's judiciary record will help him out a little bit though. I think it shouldn't be season ending. Put it that way. I think the maximum penalty should be missing out on week 1 of the finals.

Yeah he will. It definitely sucks though. He has gone through all the hard times at Penrith from 07 onwards and now Penrith finally get back to the finals and it looks like he will miss them unless they make the Grand Final.

Hughes, how long is Walsh out for ?

Is Matt Elliott drunk? I think he just forgot Brett Kimmorley's name lol.

Nah, he always talks like that. I'm sure he knew his name; he just has a very weird turn of phrase. "The bloke retiring" is something he'd say.

Send off was a joke, considering it's the only one this year... And yesterday... fmd... Anyway we won after the shittest start, so I'm happy.

No idea as of yet. I will be able to give you more information probably tomorrow onwards. I would be surprised to see him named in the team tomorrow afternoon as well. At the stage I am hearing ankle ligament damage which could be from playing next week to the season depending on the extent of the injury. He was able to at least limp off the field so I don't think it will be long.

Walsh had a lot of injuries at Newcastle didn't he? Hopefully we don't see them all come back.

Elliot is a very interesting individual. He is a very spiritual bloke and has a weird sense of humour. "The bloke..." is one of his most common phrases for sure.

I agree with what the commentators said at the time. If it wasn't for Stewart yesterday that would not of been a send off.

  16. Frizzed WC Welker

No more than a usual rugby league player tbh.

  17. Hughesy JM Hughes

Oh righto. Thought that was one of the reasons why he never really played first grade.

Hahahaha lol @ Ben Roberts. ****ing retard grubbering the ball ****ing idiot. Pretty much cost you the game. Panthers were so ****ing shit yet once again their ****ing tries off kicks get them off the hook.

As for the Civoneceva send off, that was the most influenced decision in the history of Rugby League. The ONLY reason he was sent off was because of yesterday's match and the pressure the referees got because of it. A joke of a send off.

Anyway, got to sit in the commentary box tonight  Was awesome. Brandy is a ****ing top bloke.

Kimmorley with a match winning kick for a try... Penrith score of a kick to win it.

  20. GYR DW Lewis

Hahaha. Seriously though I didn't understand what you guys were trying to do in attack. Like for example it took you almost an entire half of football to run at Barba, the most obvious defensive liability in the side.
