Not more retarded than believing a team like Manly are going to struggle getting Lockyer 1 on 1 and that Thaiday can make all his tackles for him.
The club will rule him out if there's a serious risk too. As far as I understand it, it's nothing different than usual, only that there has been a fuckload more attention to it. I think Lockyer said that his doctor thinks that the injured side of his face is even stronger with the metal there. Anyway, you usually don't come into a game expecting to get injured. But I know about as much about it as everyone else who isn't at the club, which is pretty much nothing.
Can't believe I'm considering going to this game, one of my least favourite match ups but the fact that there'll only be 20-30k people there I almost feel sorry for the Manly team. Lockyer's last NRL game will be good to stir up some Broncos fans I guess... the two lanky arse twins that always travel with that Lockyer flag.

Im sick of everyone saying this. I not like a breakthrough tactic that they thought of because of his injury. He has always been targeted and even more since putting on the 6 jersey. Lockyer has had big forwards running at him week in week out they only thing different is his injury.
Would love to see the reaction of the Broncos fans if Lockyer plays and there is some dirty tactics in the tackles.
