I don't doubt for a second that you actually think Hoffman is better. I just think you put more credence into his performances because you probably see him play more often, and take a keener interest on how he's going. It's different to, say, Hodges, whose ability you just compulsively overrate.
Yeah you have a fairly typical club supporter bias Gemmell. You watch more Broncos games and you watch them more intently than you watch other games, so you notice things more. If someone plays well for the Broncos, you'll notice the good things they do more than another player. And if someone plays shit for the Broncos, you'll notice the bad things more too. It's just an exaggeration bias rather than a complete dickhead bias, which is what someone like nadyone has. He just thinks the sun shines out of the arse of every Manly player. Your bias is just based on the fact that you analyse Broncos games better because you care about them more, and it doesn't really bother me tbh.
Absolutely. Probably why you hated Yow Yeh as much as you did. Seems to me that whatever end of the spectrum, you're opinion is concentrated or multiplied because they're Broncos.
