It's a bit hard to compare though lol. The Storm didn't have him as a focus player, instead trying to groom guys like Nielson + O'Neill for the post cap dramas, whereas Folau is definitely one of the key players in the Broncos team.
Agreed. Inglis has always been very good at rep footy in attack, when he has Locky and JT feeding him good ball. Finch/Cronk just aren't up to their quality. This years origin series was quiet by his standards, but once he started getting the ball with a bit of room we scored points. GI at left centre would have scored 4 himself last night for the Broncos...
Haha, yeh. He was making metres but the Ball players really should have cut him out, he probably should have been making those runs earlier in the set.
http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/...debate-over-hiring-inglis-20100726-10snk.html I'd personally would love to have Inglis in the side. I really think in the modern game a side needs to have gamebreakers if they want to be a hope of winning a premiership. And Inglis is as good as they come. But I also really like the look of some of the rookies, and I wouldn't want to lose some of them the same way we lost players when Folau came over.
If GI does sign with us, I wouldn't mind seeing Glenn on the wing. He and GI can switch in defence, which allows GI to do the kick returns, yet play 2-3 infield in attack to take advantage of Locky's good passing game. This would also allow us to play an extra big forward on the bench.
Nice. ****ing awesome weekend. Suncorp Stadium is ****ing sick and to top it off we had awesome seats.
No where in the article does it even hint that.... 27% is huge though, although tbh there were some really average match ups this week.
The same audience will no doubt be marking down the Tricolours next Monday night match, which is scheduled for round 24.
Gillett won the Broncos man of the match, TBH. We won't miss Folau at all. We are going to be replacing his role at right centre with Justin Hodges, which is a massive upgrade.
Prepare yourselves for the possibility of a re-incarnation of Justin Hodges, 2004. Fat, slow and lazy.
