Well, I dunno about others but I lost a little bit of love for Petero after he went to the Panthers. Still a top bloke but he's no Lockyer or Webcke.
Ah silly me, I just thought Petero left purely because he was chasing the coin, but turns out there were some trust issues involved. Surely Bennett isn't to blame though, I would have thought he'd be a man of his word. Seems more likely that Cullen was at fault. Also, what great signings Sims and Clinton turned out to be 2007-2010 were pretty shit years for the Broncos really.
Don't know how people for judging him for wanting more money. A qld player, international, he is worth at least 300k a season. Worth more than most of the players paid that amount at the time for sure. After he left broncos culture has gone to $&@/.
Yeah, I agree. Losing him, but signing Clinton and Sims has to be one of the absolute lowlights of the Broncos history. Luckily Paul White seems to be a much better CEO. No stupid agendas, stays out of the media spotlight etc.
