The Twelve Colonies are in ruins.

We are the last of our kind. We are all that is left.

The Cylons destroyed our world. Our worlds.

The Cylons. Children of men. The robotic workers and soldiers that we created, that eventually rose up against us. A bloody war was fought but we remained in control of the colonies. The Cylons retreated to their adopted homeworld. For years there was nothing. We had hoped that the Cylons had forgotten us, that they would carve out their own future amidst the stars, we had hoped that we would never see them again.

How naive we were.

They infiltrated our defences. We don't know how and we don't know why but they broke the peace. In one fell swoop they renewed the war and ended the war. Somehow, someway they accessed our nuclear defenses and used them against us.

Billions died in minutes. Humanities triumphs and history reduced to ashes by the Cylons.

The human race all but ended by its' own creation.




However all is not lost. The Battlestar Galactica, an aged warship and a small civilian fleet of survivors have escaped the Cylon massacre.

Survivors in search for a home called Earth.

Survivors that symbolise a spark of hope that remains for humanity.

But the Cylons have a plan...

And now they look like us too...

Mankind wins if they destroy the Cylon menace.
Cylons win if they control half the population.

Rules

1. Outside of this thread and your QT (if applicable), you do not talk about BSG mafia.
2. You do not talk about BSG mafia.
3. Votes must be bolded: e.g. lynch Athlai. Other variants such as kill or vote are not allowed. You must (specifically) unlynch before lynching someone else. You can vote to No Lynch if needed.
4. Days will go on until a majority is reached or until 48 hours are up. If the time limit is reached, there will be no lynch.
5. Nights are a maximum of 24 hours, but can be shorter. If you do not want to use a night action, please say so.
6. Inactives will be warned once, and then replaced. This goes for both posting in the daytime (at least 1 post per day/night cycle is required) and sending in night orders.
7. Character claiming is allowed, but beware in this game you will be in extreme danger if you out yourself, no one will ever be truly safe.
8. No editing or deleting of posts. No one cares if you make a spelling error.
9. Once you are dead, you may make one final post, but it must not contain any game-related information.
10. Remember that it's just a game. Don't be a dick and don't take things personally.
11. Always steal Howe's rules.

Athlai clarified, but just out of interest, from what I've read some bad dude nearly took over control of the whole fleet by propaganda or something. That'd make me think turncoats are very likely here?
