 The camera zooming in on that sole NZ fan surrounded by the English swinging low

Lineout falls to pieces when Youngs comes on.

  3. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Tom Youngs is so shit in the lineout. Makes such a big difference

  4. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Fair play to NZ... but England gifted that with poor lineout play

Reckon that try is basically all on Youngs. You can't have two consecutive crappy lineouts in your own 22.

  6. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

In contrast Big Ben has been exceptional since coming on

Cracking game so far. Ref has been below par though.

Just not letting NZ get up to their tricks is all. Think he's been alright - let Parling off but can't think of any other shockers

Not too disappointed with that really, looked like it could have been a romp after the second try, but we put up a good fight.

Need a sub hooker who can throw, a scrum-half who can box kick well and a spark at 10/12/13.

Disappointing result, but very proud of our performance there. In the end injuries hit us - losing Hartley so early fucked us in the lineout where we were so so dominant in the first half, and then not having any other decent front row cover really showed. Only Morgan added anything from the bench really for me

Considering we were without Corbs, Vulipola, Croft, Tuilagi, Yarde and Wade I'm really happy with that. Promising signs indeed. What a game as well.

Big plus was Twelvetrees performance. Thought he was excellent after the early stages.

Saw it when he was talking to the ref at some point, and thought my stream had just gone funny.

Great game lads, Good to see us get you guys back this season.

Atleast you put up a better fight than Aussie.

Really good game but as good as the pack were, it doesn't half sting for your 3/4 to be put in their place like that. After 60 minutes we had a real game on our hands, but NZ remembered they were NZ and when Nonu turned it on we'd no answer.

Who do England have that could have pulled off areas and Nonu's offloads today? Maybe Manu on a good day, but this side was pretty clearly outclassed and the best team won for the right reasons.

Tomkins has played his last Test. Completely out of his depth. I've never seen a League convert refuse to pass the ball like that.

I've defended Farrell before but that's generally because his miss-pass is valuable as well as his kicks, and today the kicking out of hand was hopelessly deep and the wide pass was non existant.

Agree completely about Tomkins, but I think criticising Farrell for a non-existant wide pass is a bit harsh considering the game plan. We tried going wide early and got isolated and shat on by NZ so keeping it tight was the best thing we could have done

Assuming everyone is fit, what would your starting lineup be?

  17. Weeman27bob BE Force

    I'd go with:

    1. Corbs
    2. Hartley
    3. Cole
    4. Launchbury
    5. Lawes
    6. Wood
    7. Robshaw
    8. Vunipola

    9. Youngs
    10. Farrell
    11.
    12. Twelvetrees
    13. Tuilagi
    14.
    15. Brown

I really don't know enough about the potential wing options to know who should go there.

  18. Howe JHF Howe

Definitely Yarde and I've been impressed by Wade in recent weeks.

  19. Mariner CL Warrington

    1. Corbsiero
    2. Youngs if he's on a throwing day, if not Hartley
    3. Cole
    4. Launchbury
    5. Parling
    6. Wood
    7. Robshaw
    8. Vunipola

    9. Youngs
    10. Flood
    11. Yarde
    12. Twelvetrees
    13. Tuilagi
    14. Wade
    15. Foden

  20. Weeman27bob BE Force

Having a giraffe if you want to play Foden over Brown.
