It's funny how much advantage Australia are giving Ireland in terms of ruck speed. It just doesn't matter though. The huge disparity in holding down is actually making our rucks look really bad and thus even more penalties

For me he is both a blessing & a curse. JT shouldn't have got it against Fiji though. I think DCE should get the gig over Cronk. Cronk played his natural role of halfback & DCE was put "out of position" at 5/8th & against inferior opposition, both had a good game, but DCE puts a stamp on it & takes out the MOTM award. Was that the death knell for Cronks rep career as starting halfback I heard, or was it just the full time siren? I know some people will trot out the usual "it's only 1 game" line. But if 1 game is enough to drop a player, then it is also enough to promote a player. Why wait til Cronk starts fading when Qld & Australia can have a halfback that is going to have at least a decade of dominance like no other before him. Barring injury of course.
