    Big games for the Mariners tomorrow and the Jets on Wednesday. A Mariners loss would see them definitely struggling to make the next round, while a Jets win could take them to the top of their table.

    I watched about half that match. So frustrating as a neutral... no team was about to keep possession for a decent amount of time.

    Just watched the Newcastle game. They lost to Nagoya 1-0 at home.

    Pretty uneventful game but IMO, Newcastle did enough to get a point. Some of the shots taken outside of the box were just lol'able ... pretty sure the ball went out of the stadium at least twice.

    To be fair, out of the stadium is about 5m past the fence.

    Pretty poor game from us. Hoffman?!?! Seriously, he didn't offer anything before his injuries, why will he offer anything now. I don't really think we deserved a point though, other than Costanzo's header early on we didn't create many clear chances (other than the penalty, obv.)

    Yeah, maybe I've been listening to Mr. Harper a bit too much. How disgraceful was that penalty though... is Petrovski even a professional footballer :laugh:... he didn't go for power, nor did he go for placement. I reckon Con Constantine could've made a better attempt.

    Dude wtf. It was pouring down rain and you expect teams to keep possesion like in the EPL. FFS not even most PL teams would be able to keep a healthy amount of possesion.
