Before NRL Allstars team was finalised Sam Burgess, Petero Civoniceva, Matt Scott and Chris Lawrence all withdrew from voting due to injury. Would think that most, if not all, of them would have been voted in if healthy.
One thing i'd like to see with the Allstars game is having the restricitions of the whole 1 player from every every team thing removed. Let fans vote freely for who they want in the team.
The way it is now gives all club supporters more reason to watch it (in theory), due to their players playing. Otherwise, someone like the Knights or something would have 0 reps.
Yeah, and it also stops the clubs with the most fans just voting all their players into the side. Fans are biased as hell so you'd people just voting for the whole club team.
It would be interesting to see. A lot of guys I talk to about League are quite willing to accept their team doesn't have the best players in the competition and even acknowledge a team they dislike may in fact do so. I will concede however that none of these guys are Queenslanders.
