  1. Magic AJ Parker

Yeh Slater is having off-season surgery.

  2. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Someone told me that the other day and I still forgot again.

    In that case you'd imagine:

    1.Hayne
    2.Morris
    3.Inglis
    4.Hodges
    5.Some undeserving cunt.

  3. Harry Sack SB Slippy

Pretty much. As I said earlier, it'll be a random from the finals I think

  4. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Wouldn't be surprised if they stick Josh Morris outside Hodges. Either that or they'll move Brett to the right and put Tupou outside GI which would be pretty aids.

  5. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

I'd definitely be picking Taumalolo on the Kiwi bench, if not outright starting.

  6. Tartmaster AJ James

    Hurrell out for NZ

  7. Hurricane JD Hurricane

    Stink

  8. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

    Hurrell's shit anyway.

  9. Hurricane JD Hurricane

He is a big game player.

By the way - someone told me that you privately rate Jayden Hodges is this true?

  11. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Is he? What big games has he played in? He's never played a finals series, never played a Test for NZ.

  12. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

    lol what?

  13. Hurricane JD Hurricane

Was sloppy with my words - has the attributes to be more of a factor in test matches than in NRL matches.

  14. Magic AJ Parker

Taumalolo & Hurrell carry in pretty similar strengths & weaknesses into the game.

Both are probably necessary if they're going to topple Australia but they also make them a more vulnerable defensive side.

    surely our backline would be

    1. inglis
    2. borris
    3. jorris
    4. hodges
    5. hayne

  16. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Partnering Hayne with Hodges is asking for trouble.

  17. Alec AD Funkotron

Against a hypothetical "good" side, sure.

  18. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Hurrell's just a massive liability. Marking Inglis and having Hayne and Thurston asking him questions positionally. SKD isn't that much better either. He'll jam in all night and leave Nightingale on his lonesome.

  19. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Against any side. It's just an unnecessary weakening of the defensive line. And in fact I'd argue it weakens the attack even though only marginally. Hayne is the better ball player so it makes sense to have him ball playing and letting Inglis do what he does best - ball running.
