Myself and people in my year all got into it around year 3 and 4 so about 1998-1999 and got over it by 2000.

Yeah just checked Wikipedia - Red and Blue were released in 1999 in Australia. I was in Year 5 then. I got into it tbh. :p

Left it behind when I went to high school but I loved it for those last couple of years of primary school.

Oh yeah that reminds me, around 2000 we all got into Digimon that completely took over Pokemon in every way.

Digimon's were as a type of 'Gaydar' if you will. Every parent was sent one for each male child, if the child took to the Digimon, it was was thought that there was a 96.4% chance said child would be gay.

Yeah I stand by my statements. If it came out in 98/99 then anyone over 20 was pretty immature to get into it at such an age IMO.

  10. GYR DW Lewis

Haha, I never had one tbh. I was more into the show itself.

I had a football and a taped up backyard cricket bat. Oh, and a Playstation with Fifa 98, Shane Warne Cricket and Jonah Lomu rugby.

Thes things > gay asian fantasy games.

So agreed its not funny, pretty much sums up the main shit I did as a kid but throw in building cubby houses and shit at the bush at the end of our street

Yeah I was Crescent Head so I was what I said plus trying to surf as well which never really worked but was still plenty of fun.

Yet you don't think the same for those who have over 20k posts on an internet forum?

I think having > 20k posts means I have issues now, not during childhood.
