    Jwh is a goose. Holding Ponga down by the neck right in front of the posts and then hitting him clearly late. Stupid stuff.

    Easts were lucky to score at all. Tedesco’s try came off a blatant knock on by Aubusson and Watson bumbling at fullback was their other.

    Every side in the comp would turn to shit if you took away their two key ball players, dummy half, ball playing lock and then took away their backup half.

    There's a big difference between replacing injuries in the forwards and backs and replacing injuries to the whole brain of your team.

    It was an embarrassing performance and hurts like any other but it's definitely understandable allowing for injuries.

    Taking form guides out of the equation I love winning in Canberra. I respect the atmosphere they set at Bruce Stadium with the viking clap and that Green Machine song, which makes it all sweeter to win there against all that.

    Why do you feel the need to make a response like this? It's like you think only you are allowed to criticise the Roosters because it's your team.

    There was something very different about the way Easts have played the last two weeks. Last week they looked tired and burnt out from being so "up" since round 1. This week was more of the same but to a lesser extent, and that lesser extent was subsidised by far worse execution and defence making for an all-round, yeah let's go with "embarrassing" performance.

    That they finally came back down to earth after being so dominant is certainly understandable. Missing schoolboy tackles and conceding 40 isn't really imo.

    The Raiders have 10 players unavailable including what is pretty obviously their best 7 players. I’ll be astounded if they win, even though it’s only against Canterbury.
