Panthers attack look horrendous when they're in good ball. So much unstructured play and attempts at 2nd phase that clearly just isn't working but they seem to want to persist with it.

 

That's a really bad call from Atkins, again referring on a pre-conceived idea on what a player is or isn't allowed to do.

The Canberra marker was onside their and had every right to strike at the dummy half's arm.

Seems to be a real trend this year to try and block kicks from going into the in goal... I'm not convinced it's the right call.

It's a real 50/50 in regards to which team gets the ball back and if the attacking team do manage to get the ball back it's usually against a scattered defensive line.

 

Doesn't look good for Kikau, huge blow for Penrith he seems to be their only option in attack close to the line.

I find it hard to gauge where Canberra really are as a team, they've had a bit of a soft run to start the season and if you break down their games;

5 games Vs bottom 8 sides for 5 wins, 0 losses
3 games Vs Top 8 sides for 1 win, 2 losses

Games against the Roosters and Rabbitohs over the next fortnight will be the real test.

 

Geez Folau would've been proud of that grab.

 

I did bitch out in the end.

Cashed out 370 and then reinvested 70 into another multi including Toops to score at any time that got up.

So less risk in the end but missed out on about 80 bucks overall in the end.
