Mostly I just think the contact is so minor. Different if he fully drops the shoulder into the back. Cunt was trying to get to the ball imo

Fuck I love Munster. He was excellent last night.

Such a Wests performance. Good wins and then get belted by one of the worst teams in the comp, and at home.

    Are you tho? lol

Hard to know what to make of the Tigers.

They beat a Manly side who didn't trial before Round 1, they beat a Warriors side who just got flogged by 30+ and just got comfortably beaten by the worst side in the comp. All 3 games at home to start the season too.

I imagine they'll be one of the sides fighting for 8th spot, not too dissimilar to last year.

I reckon they've kind of fucked themselves backing Brooks because when they lose Farah and Marshall to retirement they may also be in a position where they need to go elsewhere outside of Brooks. Reynolds and Mbye aren't solutions to the 6,7 or 9 either.

    Gagai is woeful in defence

Can someone please teach this ref how to blow a whistle? Honestly

Fuck our edge defence is trash

Also one of these commentators on Fox keeps calling players the wrong names and it's really annoying.
Arrow took a run and he called him Anthony Don.

What a weird kick from Rein when you’re 8 points down in such good field position. They’ll bomb from their own 40 but not there. Ridiculous

  11. Tartmaster AJ James

    That was fucking short.

  12. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

    lol and them reviewing that.

  13. Tartmaster AJ James

Fuck, if they took that try off us I would've raged so fucking hard

Why do they even offer markets like this on a game such as this? It's free money, honestly.

    lol Butler is awful.

    Is Don. Is good.

Terrible second half from Souths. They’ve been in 2nd gear the whole half.

It’s only round three but Melbourne are a phenom. In the professional, salary cap era, and their indiscretions aside, I don’t think I can remember a club with such consistency. The way they perpetually reinvigorate their roster and keep winning is something to behold.

A bad year for them is only making a prelim.

A lot of people had them falling back to the pack last year with the loss of Cronk. They finished equal first and made the GF. Now they’ve lost Slater as well and they’re still the benchmark. It’s incredible.

The key is obviously Smith. He is just that much better than any of his counterparts in the game, and he plays a role that allows for him to drag everyone else up to such a higher standard.

I think the fact that as a dummy half he can directly lead the team by being the first to handle the ball differentiates him from any of the greats who were limited in their ability to carry a team on their own backs. No matter how good the great halves in the game were, they were still somewhat limited by their forwards in generating the momentum needed to win a game. Smith has the added benefit of being able to pick and choose every play from dummy half, where even with trash forwards he can still use his skill to generate the go forward needed for his halves to play off.

Yeah. He takes a lot of the credit for their success in general, and their go-forward specifically. I think Bellamy and the Storm as an organisation can take a lot of credit for constantly supplying the side with outside backs and peripheral forwards who at other clubs would just be mediocre.

Their player turnover in the last 10 years is ridiculous. There’s practically a premiership winning side; Inglis, Folau, Cronk, Slater, Harris, Proctor, Koroibete, McLean, Glasby, O’Neill, Hoffman, Widdop, Waqa, Green, Nielsen, the list just goes on and on...
