They're now saying Reynolds will probably be right for Game 3. It's a missed opportunity really.

The weird thing is that with all the changes NSW have made in the halves over the years, they're still well behind in progress, really. Pearce was given far too many chances and probably would still be there if he wasn't a dirty, dog fucker. Reynolds should've been dropped after his Game 1 performance, and the obvious flaws in his game making it evident he isn't equipped to succeed in Origin. Yet he'll probably be there in Game 3 as well.

Hypothetically, and of course this isn't actually practicable but just thinking out loud, they had enough games to give all of A.Reynolds, J.Reynolds, Sezer, Austin, Maloney, Hodkinson, Pearce, Brooks, Cartwright, Townsend and a few others, a run. And they'd probably be in better shape than they are now.

Reynolds will be in Game 3 if he's fit, and the next in line is apparently Jack Bird. With Maloney seemingly holding down his spot. I mean that's about as dire as it's ever been for the Blues. At least if they'd chopped and changed after every game we'd have gotten a look at a few more contenders.

The most disgraceful part of all of that is how Carney and Campese were dumped so quickly. That's really what started and deepened the rot.

Yeah Carney and Campese and you can add Mullen to that list. If you go back and watch Game 1, 2007 he showed probably more than just about all of them. Obviously we now know the cunt is made of glass and hasn't lived up to potential, but they didn't know that at the time and he was competing against Kimmorley. Their options are getting worse and worse yet they're more loyal than ever. Over the last few years, if you get picked for Game 1 in the halves, you're pretty given the entire series to show something.

Yeah, I think Carney and Mullen were meant to be our Cronk and Thurston. I don't think they were less naturally talented than them and they more or less kept pace with them in terms of junior footy development. Unfortunately they didn't work as hard for it, didn't have as good early coaching, weren't properly identified by their state selectors and weren't as lucky with injury.

We were also lucky enough to pick some of these blokes out of necessity. We were blessed with a lack of variety.

    We've made some errors though.
Hunt over Prince game 1 08 comes to mind.

Hunt was picked because Prince was considered too dominant to play with Thurston. What a joke. Incidentally, Hunt actually didn't play too badly.

He was just ineffectual, while Wallace and Bird played out of their skins.

Do people actually think that what Pearce did was bad? I've seen much worse than what he did. He was just absolutely smashed and it showed in what he was saying. He wasn't going to actually fuck the dog. If anything I gained a bit of respect for him. Reckon he's a good fella. The real cunt was the dude filming it.

Of camera he'd lubed up and everything.

That mutt was gonna cop it.

I've been so much more fucked than that on so many occasions and like Pearce didn't hurt anyone. The mistake he made was putting himself in that situation with cunts he didn't know. My mates and I have such fucked vids of each other that will never, ever see the light of day thank fuck. Shit go from the cunt who did it for sure.

Nah. I couldn't give a fuck what footballers do in their private lives.

I think if Morgan is out and Myles is fit, Walters will probably run with four forwards on the bench. I hope not. Overlooking Myles might make him realise that he's gotta step up if he's going to take any further part in rep footy. That along with it just being plain stupid to have four forwards and no specialist utility/hooker replacement.

It could have been much more massive if that slut decided to act like she was sexually assaulted when it became a story. He's already had previous experience of what a girl can do to a public figure when she decides to lie or just wants attention/drama. He's just immature and was over-mothered. Shows in his footy a bit sometimes. He's Wayne Pearce's son yet he didn't start playing rugby league until he was 10 cause his mum was scared of him getting hurt.

I'd go with Myles. All the young players I'd want blooded are banned.

If it means no DCE in the side I'm all for it.

Though I'd rather Granville. He can cover outside backs as well.

  19. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Cherry-Evans should definitely be in the side imo.

  20. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

They may both get picked cause McGuire be in some strife for that lifting tackle.
