Well Fusitu'a showed how much promise he has in his debut season last year didn't he? He's versatile enough to cover wing, fullback and even centre. Plenty of confidence and talent there.

Fisiiahi had his season ended by a shoulder injury last season, which will keep him out for the start of this season too, and maybe even another 6 months. So don't know why we're discussing him.

Haven't seen enough of Allwood to form an opinion given he's only young and played only a handful of games for the Raiders. Same with Pewhairangi. Haven't seen any of the grand total of 4 appearances he has made in the NRL so far for the Eels.

Jonathon Wright could be a good signing. Sometimes these Aussie players can find a new lease of life with the Warriors.

Peyroux is a decent player but probably won't start a lot.

Apparently Laumape is a lot fitter and leaner now and should go alright this year. Dangerous player. But like Fisiiahi he's injured too, so no point talking about him at the moment.

Solomone Kata will probably start alongside Hurrell in round 1. So that's 2 beasts in the centres.

    We'll go alright I reckon.

    FIRE UP WARRIOR!

Just face it. Manu is a legend. Maybe not in Australia because you're sick of him running over the top of all your skinny white players for both the Warriors and the Kiwis. But he's scored over 200 tries and will go down in history as one of the greats. And he's still going strong. You just refuse to accept it.

    And dusted.

  4. Pretzel P Retzel

Will be hoping Doggies finish top 4. Essentially same squad but with Lichaa and Morris. Perrett out of fullback, Brown fucked off, Morris and hodkinson over their injuries, should be really looking to finish high.

You can't be a great of the game if you're only a 50/50 proposition of catching the ball at any given moment.

Give him a chance. He was playing for a horrendous Sharks outfit last season.

  7. Fiery GR Smith

He's improved in that area immensely in recent years tbh.

And because he's taller than most players he scores a lot of tries from bombs that most other players wouldn't get near.

  8. Julian BJ Taylor

He's probably the worst outside back in the NRL.

  9. AVA T Delonge

And yet still managed to be the worst player in the team.

  10. Fiery GR Smith

As I said, sometimes these Aussie players can find a new lease of life with the Warriors. He's suspended for round 1 anyway and might struggle for game time. Not prepared to write him off just yet anyway.

He could be a good signing. We don't know yet.

If he could be a good signing, anybody could be a good signing.

  14. Fiery GR Smith

Well the Warriors have obviously seen something in him they think they can work with. Can't we wait till he gets on the field?

  15. AVA T Delonge

I'm surprised he can even find the field.

  16. Julian BJ Taylor

He's been getting on the field for the last few years and proving time after time he's not up to it.

Fiery could be the most biased fan ever.

    Wow...

    Just wow...

Look, Wright was signed at a bargain basement price. He will lift his game immeasurably at the Warriors after being unhappy in the toxic environment of the Sharks. His ability to play on both sides of the park makes him a handy acquisition but he still has to fight hard for game time with the likes of Manu, Hurrell, Laumape, Fisiiahi, and Fusitiu'a higher up the pecking order. Julian asked me what I thought of him and all I said was he could be a good signing. We don't know yet. In terms of value for money he could. He could also be a shit signing. Nobody knows yet.

Was it a toxic environment at the Eels & Dogs too?

He's one of, if not the worst player in the NRL.
It's a bad signing, it happens, just admit it and move on.
