Then you have to be okay with Inglis smashing Pearce.

Yes you did. You allow it by keeping players who do those sort of acts on the field. Oh and I'll go through the game and give you the exact minute. Or we can look at the Slater/Pearce instance. By your standards Inglis is allowed to come in even though he wasn't involved, clock Pearce and still stay on the field. That's ridiculous and irresponsible.

Either defend your rationale when your players would be on the receiving end of it or don't reply at all.

So you're a fan of dog shots?

    My honest opinion.

I honestly believe Gallen shouldn't of been sin binned in game 1.

Merrin deserved to be. If Merrin came in and pushed Tate and him and Tate stood toe to toe and then he threw a punch I'd say fair game no sin bin penalty to qld.

  4. AVA T Delonge

Not at all. I just loved the fact that up until that point both teams had been too scared to throw a punch and then Merrin just said fuck it and threw the most blatantly sin-binnable punch.

Nah we've already done this argument to the death, I've already said I'm not going to comment anymore because we just totally disagree on how it should be handled so stop being a shit cunt and bringing it up.

I never brought up the argument so there's no need to defend my rationale I already have, you on the other hand did bring up the argument that Hodges shouldn't have been sent off which is what you were quoting me on.

If you have a point make it but stop bringing up old arguments.

It's an indefensible position. I have a fresh order of lemons here for you mate.

I can go either way on Hodges. I don't think there was much in it; I'd like to see a reverse angle. I do think there was an element of protecting Tate. He's got that on his side. Merrin's was just ridiculous.

They should pick Lewis with Uate. Nsw only hope

Just come out and be honest about it, your stance on this is NSW players who throw punches should be sin binned. At least then you're being consistent.

Uate's already had his turn of getting raped on the right wing.

I imagine Fergo will come back in but I'd much prefer it to be Gordon.

Gallen and Merrin were definite sin binnings. Pearce has thrown punches several times over the last two series; I didn't say he should be binned. Jarryd Hayne punched Thurston in Game I last year. I didn't say he should be binned.

   ...Good show.

lol Pearce never throws punches, he comes in all hot headed, chest puffed out pushing every cunt under the sun only to walk away having done everything but actually throw a punch.

I'm just glad you're not the one drawing up the rules because fuck you're hard to follow.

    :p

I agree with you on your Thaiday call.

He made a fool of me tonight. I was saying to some mates in the leadup to the game that he should be nervous because he is shit and a waste of space... He was unreal in his 1st stint. They really should have started him in the second half, however, usually you want the same guys who hit the sheds to go back out because they have had the rest and you can save some interchanges for later on.

Bullshit. Game I last year he threw a punch at Thaiday. My rules are simple. Don't throw unprovoked and dangerous punches.

Your rules are a fucking joke and would fall to pieces the minute one of the scenarios I stated, actually occurred. You're happy for Pearce to get knocked out cold and for his assailant to stay on the field. Please.

We did conserve our changes pretty well though. Papalii got on about 50-55 I think it was - Could've been later. And he was only our 5th change. We used the other 5 in the space of 20-25 minutes. You can do that though when you've done half as much tackling as the opposition.

    Clearly we need Craig Gower.

Depends if it's a dog shot or not, if it's a king hit and the bloke's not looking then I can't dispute it being a send off (and I mean send off not 10 minutes). But seriously you're talking about a once in a decade incident deciding how we adjudicate the game?

I actually thought Trent Merrin's was by far the worst I've seen in a while, it was quite clear that Tate wasn't even looking and he had a long time to think about what he was going to do. If there was more force behind the punches I reckon he'd be looking at a month + on the sidelines. I still reckon he'll get a couple of weeks.

My gripe is with the sin bin being used for fights in general. It's just not fucking worth it, if there's willing participants then who gives a shit let the game be decided on who's the best team not because one team got to play with an extra man for 10 minutes.

If the refs missed something then it'll get picked up by the Match Review Committee, asking them to make decisions in the heat of the moment with limited vision & differing reports just leads to crap decisions like what happened tonight.

Yes but you didn't want Jennings sent off and that was a king hit by any standard.

Apparently Thurston was on a drip in hospital all last night. Big effort from him.
