  3. Henry Marshall H Marshall

I actually can't believe Widdop got dropped. That backline is going to get torn up in defense.

LOL @ the big writeup the other day about Slater V Widdop

Well, how often do you see a Test halfback move to fullback? It's absurd.

  8. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

    The second half was disgusting.

enlgand didnt deserve to win but should have been ALOT closer, some very very very dodgy calls by refs, and i agree with what the commentators said on sky sports, do the aussies have a problem having neutral officials for big matches?

As im not being funny but even brent tate and cooper cronk both knew they had knocked on, and the body languege said everything, it also looked as if brent tate had just heard someone died when he was walking back after his try

There where a few positives though, in patches we definatly deserved something from the match but just made too many errors, we had a few standout performers, Luke Robinson, Burgess, Graham, Ellis, Westwood where all good for me did alot of hard worktomkins was awful didnt look comfortable at fullabck which is stupid as he has played there all year for wigan

There are zero Kiwi refs officiating in the NRL. They're all shit ****s.

So there should be, the only way this will get better is by getting mentored by the nig boys as we are doing with a few french officials in super league, plus they had NZ officals working the four nations so why not give them this match,

at the end of the day THERE IS A MUST NEED for impartial officals. its the whole thing of the benifit of the doubt tires that where given, if that was an english ref and was for us i garuntee it would have been the same result but with a kiwi ref or a french ref they are less likly to side on a team and give those descision when they where, from what i saw, 75% clear knock ons, if its over 50% and in both cases there was either a change of direction from the ball in cronks, and tates you could see the ball leave his hand.

I totally disagree. The notion of "impartial referees" for Test RL is completely overrated. We don't have (or need) impartial referees for SOO or for club RL, so why are Tests so special? It's easy to say the officials' shitty performances were due to bias but that's impossible to prove. Referees making several poor calls in favour of team A, against team B, where team A and the officials hail from the same country, does not prove a propensity for favouritism.

It simply proves that which we see week in, week out - The referees are poorly trained and their performances show that. They suck and often have unusually poor matches, just as poorly trained RL teams do.

What's more, impartial referees are usually worse. The English and Kiwi refs are disgraceful.

If a ref shows bias in a rep match, he'll prolly will not be used again.

  14. Magic AJ Parker

I'd rather have the best (shame Archer is just a shit ****) refereeing the biggest games than the 20th best just because he's perceived as 'neutral'.

So when is the team being named? The articles are saying that Sheens wants to give everyone a run, but doesn't want to change 1,6,7,9. So Farah and Carney on the bench v the Kiwis? lol

  16. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

He is only saying that to give Lawrence a run.

Meanwhile another coach takes a royal dump on the Test jersey, and then has the ****ing audacity to blow up at a journalist who "questions his integrity." Well Shifty, you don't have any ****ing integrity. You're a liar, a hypocrite and a moron.

That article really has me worried with him sprouting shit about merit. Does that mean Lockyer's seriously not going to play the final if Carney plays decently?
