    I hardly think Terry saying he can play is proof that he actually can, or should.

    Up to the manager to make sure he's doing what's best for the players so that they can maintain consistent performances without getting fatigued.

    Terry is hardly the unbiased source who could provide us with an objective view on whether he actually can play every fixture at his age whilst maintaining his performance across the whole season, prolonging his career and not picking up injuries due to fatigue.
