It got a bit hectic at times. Bottles being thrown everywhere with the mexican wave, fights breaking out in the crowd. It was awesome.
I actually agree with you for once Ged. I would retain Scott as well but I think I would play Myles ahead of Bird. The last bench spot will between Gidley and Carney and I think Gidley should get as it adds more than what Carney would. Agreed Scott played really well and was impressive. Has had a really consistent season. Tate probably had his best game of the 4N series yesterday as well. :fP: Lewis had a blinder in his last game, why wouldn't Sheens bring him back if he is 100% fit... by the way, did Gallen get injured yesterday?
The logical solution (as we pretty much all said at the start of the series is: 8 Civoneciva 10 Shillington/Scott 11 Bird/Myles 12 Thaiday 13 Gallen 14 Myles/Bird 15 Learoyd Lahrs 16 Scott/Shillington (running forwards only, obv)
It is pretty strange that NZ just inexplicably don't rate Luke at all, and go to such lengths as playing a crap halfback at hooker ahead of him, but Luke's always been a massively over-rated ****, especially by Souffs fans, so I get twisted satisfaction out of it. His defence is pathetic and his service is pretty average. His strengths are his running game and his creativity - two things which people notice a lot more readily than basic facets of playing hooker like tackling and passing.
This may come across as biased but seriously New Zealand missed McKendry yesterday. They needed him to come off the bench at the very least.
