Not sure why you'd choose to receive first. Surely on percentages you receive the ball in a better position in the second set than you would the first.

I don't think there was true separation. It separated from his wrist a bit, but part of his hand was in contact with the ball the entire time.

It never should've gotten to that point anyway. When Cronulla got that scrum at the end for the knock down by the Raiders player, whoever dived on it was offside and it should've been a penalty right in front to Cronulla a minute before the no try for Fifita happened

I really can't stand Klein as a ref he is a fucktard and should not see first grade for a long time. The reffing throughout the whole game was horrendous for both sides. It's as if they gave the penalty at the end as a square up for the calls that went our way in the last 5-10 mins of the game after realising their fuck ups.
The refereeing was shocking but not convinced it's just a Klein thing. I've really struggled to follow a lot of the calls over the last couple of weeks, I think there might be a conscious effort from the refs to try and clean up the ruck before the finals series. They're doing a shit job at it because there's no consistency but seems to be a lot more ruck infringement penalties over the past few weeks.
