Convincing win for the Storm. Don't think it's makes much difference to the comp. Both teams secure in the top 4.
Watched the game at the pub, Melbourne beat Souths in ten minutes, then played like absolute shit for the rest or the game. We had strong defense obviously, but the amount of dropped ball was ridiculous. We should have put at least 40 on them. Fonua is killing me. Hoffman is a living legend.
Just saw this, what an idiot. With Inglis & Sutton out he's most likely gone and got himself suspended too.
Inglis was a chance of coming back this week IIRC so his comeback should be soon. We'll lose 50-0 sans Sutton, Inglis and Burgess though. At least they'll be back for the finals.....
Haha, saw the bloke stay down holding his groin but just assumed he copped a stray knee. Doggest cunt.
Fucked if I know. I haven't even watched the game yet. Just remember seeing a 14-8 scoreline as I was browsing NRL stats so I just assumed that was the reason.
The reasoning Gould(?) gave, although I don't think he agreed, was that it put them within a converted try of drawing level. Obvs didn't like their chances of scoring twice and the chances of getting another penalty within range were slim
