Once they got rid of King and Snowden front row wasn't the problem, I do agree Lahrs would've been suited perfectly to that 10-20 minute stint off the bench that Stuart was working with though.
+Outside of one stupid forced flick pass (that actually gave us a new set) I was impressed by Glenn Stewart last night, perfect replacement for Scott. I thought Soward had a pretty good game as well. Even Watmough looked alright in attack and got heavily involved. And the Hayne Plane wasn't to shabby at centre. -Dissapointed in Minichello, was terrible. Pearce was terrible, couldn't believe that kick out on the full. Gidley defended pretty good but fuck me he made some stupid decisions, that grubber on the 3rd was inexcusable. Luke Lewis attacked alright but really need to work out his defence, slips off too many at crucial times, almost as if he goes too low. Brett Morris should also retire, the cunt never looks comfortable in origin.
Needs to be out in the centres at rep level imo, would be damaging as fuck. Also thought Ben Creagh had a pretty good series for how much of a cat he is, wasn't the mass dissapointment I expected.
This is why I've had a problem with this rule from the start. So many times when it's 50/50 as to whether a player took a ball in goal or not, and the defending player is expected to let the bloke go? There's no way to tell whether a player is running back to the 20 or running off downfield. Happened in a Knights game earlier this year where it was blatantly caught outside the in-goal, the player got smashed, and the ref gave them a penalty because he'd mistakenly judged that the ball was taken on the full in-goal. Williams IMO.
Summarise what Williams did wrong point by point. I remember one of his knock ons being purely from a perfect tackle, was too magget to have much of a grip on the rest.
How great is it to be in QLD atm? Everyone is cheery, happy, perfect weather, not a cloud in the sky... Whereas is NSW it's all bitter, smelly, with smug and pollution combining into clouds.
I'm actually pretty glad Queensland got flooded and people (well not human people, Queenslanders) lost everything.
